Epicenter Literary Software

Herron’s company, Epicenter Literary Software, was founded in 1988 at Harvard University as the "Epicenter for the Study of Epic and Oral Poetry." The company promotes intercultural connections by sponsoring programs that highlight and compare the stories and oral traditions of learners and cultures. For example, the company sponsors a program in which rap music is shared in the context of Homeric Greek epic and contemporary African epic.

The Epicenter is sponsoring the development of "The Function at the Junction," multimedia artistic and educational products for community and online education.

The website for the Epicenter (http://www.epiclitsoft.com) is currently under development. For more information, please contact Carolivia directly at carolivia@carolivia.org.
