I really liked your book and don't understand all the controversy surrounding it. i felt it was a good way to teach some of the cultural things. I do feel as you pointed out in class that the coloring of the people should have been more life like. I think some of these people that are having a problem with the book should get out a little and see the world. This is a very good book written for children about a child. Let it go and get over it.
